Join Professor Porterfield in this lecture about the traditions and methods of working in the ‘Conjurer’s Garden’ the graveyard and cemetery within the tradition of hoodoo, rootwork, and conjure. This lecture will discuss the various materia magica found and gathered from the graveyard as well as the structure and placement of a grave from headboard to footboard, how to purchase graveyard dirt, as well as a variety of traditional works done with not only the materia but also the spirits in this separate kingdom. About the Presenter:
Professor Charles Porterfield is an old-fashioned, no-nonsense, Old Testament reader and rootworker. He is the co-author of Hoodoo Bible Magic, the author of A Deck of Spells and The Sporting Life, and has been published in Volume 5 of the Verdant Gnosis. A well-known cartomancer, he regularly lectures and teaches on cartomancy, cartomantic methods, hoodoo, and conjure to help preserve and pass on the roots of the work as well as consults, prescribes, and divines work for those in need. He currently lives in Denton, Texas with his wife and two cats.
