About the event
This class encounters the profound tool of narratology and storytelling as a generative and ensorceled ritual-process through which the Witch can identify, engage, walk-into, and transform the ecologies of their Imaginal, the spirit-world, and the spirits in said world. The philosophy and ethos of storytelling-for-witchcraft and witchcraft-for-storytelling will be complemented by case-studies, practical exercises, and witchcraft workings to support the practitioner in their literary aspirations as much as their witchcraft ambitions. In addition to the aforementioned explorations, the class will conclude with some foundational investigation in how to pursue relationship with spirits capable of inciting creative inspiration—whether that be with a cherished author amongst the Mighty Dead, a Stellar Spirit in the legion of a Storytelling Star, or a Mermaid Queen with an unspoiled affection for artists.
