In Hoodoo practice our Ancestors are not just distant memories, but a source of wisdom, empowerment and spiritual protection! Death is NOT Considered to be the end of life, but a transition into an elevated state of being. It is from this ascended state that the ancestors are able to assist us in our lives.
Nurturing our relationships with those beyond the veil is seen as mutually beneficial. As we elevate them they elevate us !
Some of what is discussed in this class:
- Creating and maintaining a sacred space/ancestral altar
- How to communicate with spirit and interpret messages
- Working with the ancestors via spells, rituals and invocation
- Graveyard etiquette & procedure
- Appropriate offerings and why we choose them
- Working with ancestors outside of your bloodline
Ancestral Veneration is a pillar of Hoodoo tradition. It is where the threads of the past are woven into the present, connecting us with those who came before us.
Join me on this journey and let us tap in to a source of great strength, as we build our bond with those beyond the veil!
