Like Apples of Gold: Biblical Magic in Conjure and Hoodoo

Proverbs 25: 11 says that “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in  pictures of silver...” Join us for some words fitly spoken indeed by the author of Hoodoo Bible Magic the one and only Professor Porterfield as he takes us through the world of the Sacred Secrets of Scriptural Sorcery. Practical, honest, and straightforward Professor Porterfield will be teaching on the history of Christian Conjuration with the Holy Scriptures. Learn traditional spells of Psalmic Magic originating in Jewish wisdom and preserved by African American elders and so much more. Come with us as we open the Bible's treasure-house of Secret Charms and Sacred Amulets, and prepare yourself for revelations and wonders. In this class, you will learn that the Bible is a magic book and this class will help show you just how to use it!

About the Presenter:

Professor Charles Porterfield is an old-fashioned, no-nonsense, Old Testament reader and rootworker. He is the co-author of Hoodoo Bible  Magic, the author of A Deck of Spells and The Sporting Life, and has been published in Volume 5 of the Verdant Gnosis. A well-known cartomancer, he regularly lectures and teaches on cartomancy, cartomantic methods, hoodoo, and conjure to help preserve and pass on the roots of the work as well as consults, prescribes, and divines work for those in need. He currently lives in Denton, Texas with his wife and two cats.
