Luck Be A Lady Tonight: Magic to Conjure & Keep Luck with Phoebe Hildegard Finch

Lady Luck is a fickle mistress, but skilled conjurers have always known the ways to keep her happy. Every drop of luck we accumulate is countable, it is quantifiable. We earn and spend luck freely… whether we know it or not. In our magical work, even a little luck can make all the difference. Luck is the battery in our backs and a source of spiritual potency for those who know how to manipulate it for success. 

This class lays out traditional methods to assess your luck, to protect your luck, to acquire more luck. We will explore the creation of charms and talismans to store luck, cleanses, blessings, and washes to break a streak of bad luck, even workings to steal an enemy’s luck. The role of ancestors in creating lucky or unlucky conditions will be examined in depth, as will the traditional use of “unlucky” taboo items like skulls, black cats, and the number 13, which in the proper hands can bring a powerful form of good luck that is not easily reversed.

About the Presenter:

Phoebe Hildegard Finch is a traditionally trained conjurer, card reader, and writer.  Originally brought to earth after a series of baleful magical experiments, she currently resides in Denton, Texas as the live-in apprentice of Professor Charles Porterfield. A lifelong herbalist, her work with plants is the loamy heart of her craft, anchoring the arcane in the physical.
