About the event
This lecture focuses on reproductive justice magic and womb-healing. Through the study of the history of abortion, we are able to see the complexities and nuances of agency in the past and the interconnected relationships between medicine, magic, and religion. Her holy well in Kildare has been a space for womb-healing for many centuries and Arica will share both personal magical experiences and how this is accessible to all of us. Womb-healing is open to people of all sexes and genders and is an important part of addressing things like the mother-wound, our own existence, and the veils between worlds.
