The early 1970’s psychedelic era released a boom of witchcraft books. Two celebrity witches, Sybil Leek and Alex Saunders “The King of the Witches” published instructions for creating fluid condensers, described as one of the potent tools of the witch. This material was appropriated from the recently published books of Franz Bardon, a Czech ceremonial magician and spagyric doctor. Bardon’s work was in turn rooted in esoteric groups of the late 19th century occult and alchemical revival.

This class will explore practical methods of making magical fluid condensers and how they are employed in modern magic and witchcraft (elemental magic, scrying, perfumes, enlivening images, remote influence). It will also review how they were used by earlier occult practitioners including The Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor, the UR group, Valentin Bresle, Maria de Naglowska and Franz Bardon.
