The Otherworld Isn't Just for Ghosts

This is a 120-minute intermediate through experienced level lecture.

For many people, tales of the Otherworld bring to mind departed loved ones and hauntings by poltergeists, but in the Ozark Mountains the Otherworld houses a whole host of spirit-beings beyond those of the dead. As a medium and Ozark healer I've spent the past fifteen years working with the Otherworld and its inhabitants. This lecture will look at some of the lesser-known invisible entities who call the Otherworld their home as well as examine specific Ozark methods of spirit-detection, diagnosis, and methods of exorcism. Some of the beings we'll look at include the helpful Outhouse Imp, the vicious Fae being called Arm-Eyes, protectors of the home known as House Chickens, and spectral Hags like the Strangler, Cooker, and Mule-Riding Witch.
