Tobacco is a sacred herb, known as the perfume of mars. It is steeped in much folklore, with a long history of medicinal and Magickal use. 

Potent and regal, Sweet yet poisonous,

this class explores the “double personality” and diverse uses of tobacco in Hoodoo, Rootwork and Folk Magick.

 

On one hand its sweet fragrance is used for spirit communication and favor, while on the other hand it’s fiery nature can be used in protection, domination and cursing works. 

In this class we will go over practical ways to incorporate tobacco into your spell works such as mojo bags and jars, in colognes and washes, on candles and even workings at the crossroads!

Throughout our journey together, we will unlock the supernatural potency of this herb.

About the Presenter:

Yona Glickman is a conjureman, cartomancer and teacher of Hoodoo & rootwork. Born in a family deeply rooted in spirituality and folk magic allowed him to nurture his natural “gift” & relationship with the spirit realm. Itis the diversity in his mentorship as well as his personal life experiences that gives him a well-rounded and practical perspective to his spiritual workings. As an approachable,“every day man” he prides himself on using the old time tradition of Hoodoo to find solutions for modern day problems. He is highly skilled and well-versed in candle rituals, biblical magic, herbs, curios and creating handcrafted spiritual products. As One ofthe legacy students of Professor Charles Porterfield, promoting strength in others and keeping the tradition alive is his mission.
