Tzitzimimeh, The Dangerous Ones: The Stars, the In-Between, & The Witch-Power in Mexican Curanderismo & Brujeria


What is of the Earth is not the same as what is of the Sky! Praise and  Gratitude to Our Lady of the Starry Skirt, mother of the Star Warriors  known as the Tzitzimimeh, whose unique family are intimately tied to the  cycles of death and rebirth, of the skeletal and enfleshed, the eclipse  which allows the stars to walk among the day.  Described in  post-conquest narratives as devils, as demons, as succubi; this race  within the Mexica pantheon still stirs fear and wonder. They are  star-power, they are woman-power, they are patrons of midwives and  healers, for witches and sorcerers alike. Where does the condemnation  give way to truth?
