Join Rebecca Beyer on a walking tour of downtown Salem, identifying local trees, plants & flowers and their magical properties. Barks, woods and resins are some of the most important parts of the materia magic in folk magic around the world. Learn the folkloric uses of common trees of the East coast (in downtown Salem!) and their historical magical uses in the US and abroad. Their magical, medicinal and even edible properties will be covered alongside how to cultivate relationships such important beings.Proper clothing for the temperature and weather should be worn. If you would like to join the Witches’ Tree Walk, please meet in the lobby of the Hawthorne Hotel.

About the Presenter:

Rebecca Beyer (she/her) is the woman behind the Blood and Spicebush  School of Old Craft. She lives in the mountains of Western North  Carolina, where she live on a rural community owned land project and  teaches traditional witchcraft, foraging, and Appalachian folk medicine.  She has written multiple books and love to share about Appalachian  plantlore and folkmagic on her blog, www.bloodandspicebush.com

Class will meet in the lobby of the Hawthorne Hotel, we advise being in the lobby for check-in no later than 10minutes prior to the posted class start time. Space is limited for the Witches Tree Walk and we will only be able to admit the first 15 attendees.
