Traditional Greek witchcraft is a complex web of folk magic, sorcery, and spirit-work woven by the fate-stirring witch. From folk spells for mundane purposes to the conjuration of spirits both celestial and infernal, the Greek witch works wondrous magic and proclaims their Otherness and asserts their kinship with Gods and spirits. In this presentation, Stefanos Chelydoreus will share information about Greek witchcraft history and practices that are almost entirely unknown among English-speaking practitioners as well as teach an array of fundamental techniques and magical workings integral to the Greek witch’s arsenal.
